Craig Galbraith has recently resigned from his role of State Manager with Adrad in Victoria, a position he held since 2010. Craig has been in the radiator industry for over 15 years. Joining Adrad in Western Australia in 2004, he held several roles including Customer Service Officer, Warehouse Manager, Adair Coordinator, Adrad Experts Coordinator, Natrad Regional Manager, 2IC and Branch Manager. He relocated to Melbourne in 2010 to take up the role of Adrad State Manager – Vic / Tas. Prior to his time with Adrad Craig was a radiator fitter, workshop foreman and manager at a number of larger shops in and around Perth including the Radiator Masters, Odins and Joondalup Radiators. He has moved on from Adrad to launch his own business, Automotive Alliance Australia.
After 9 years with Acton Distribution / Ashdown-Ingram, and many years in the Qld radiator industry as the Brisbane branch manager at Natra, Phil Cole has moved on from his position as Operations Manager of the Car Cooling Services division of Acton / Ashdown-Ingram. Car Cooling Services is the business unit dealing with the insurance industry. Phil joined Acton in 2002 when Natra closed their Brisbane branch and appointed Acton as their state distributor. It is believed Phil is to pursuing a business venture in the health industry as well as spending more time on the radiator shop he owns in Lismore.
Queensland industry identity and former Managing Director of Acton Distribution has left his position as General Manager of Acton Distribution (part of Ashdown-Ingram since 2008) to pursue a new business venture outside the automotive industry. Perry is well known for his involvement with the ICE Group and his involvement in the now well missed, radiator conferences, and his long standing as the Qld distributor of many well known brands in the industry including, Denso, Behr-Hella & ADR, and over the years most other brands such as Natra, Adrad, & K&J.
After 6 years in the role of General Manager Marketing at CoolDrive Distribution, Tim has left to take up a new position at Auto Electrical wholesaler Baxters. Tim has a long history in the radiator industry having previously been a co owner of the Mr. Radiator chain in Victoria. In recent years he has been heavily involved in industry associations such as VASA where he currently holds the position of Director. Tim is widely attributed with successfully commercialising CoolDrive’s marketing and IT departments and being a key driver behind iShop.
A long term member of the Adrad management team has resigned from his role as General Manager – Sales & Product to take up the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer with the Auto Parts Group. Auto Parts Group incorporates Motor Kool and All Crash Parts. Duane held a number of key roles over his 11 years at Adrad including Purchasing officer, Product Sourcing Manager, Business Development Manager and for the last few years General Manager – Sales & Product. As someone with considerable industry experience it will be interesting to observe the influence he has over the Motor Kool range.
It is understood that Bryce Washington and Anthony Nicole have taken on more managerial responsibilities with Duane’s departure from Adrad.
The friendly voice on the phone at Redback Radiators has resigned from his role as customer service officer and returned home to the Sunshine Coast.
Brian has joined Redback Radiators as customer service officer. Brian comes well credentialed having spent over 25 years in various radiator shops around the Gold Coast.
Michael as finished his role with Ashdown-Ingram where he spent the last 3.5 years working on the acquisition and integration of Acton Distribution and the role out of radiators in the Ashdown-Ingram branch network. Michael has been in and around the industry since the late 1980’s with a long stint at Cooldrive before joining Ashdown-Ingram. Michael has returned to run his automotive business consultancy.
Steve has left his role as sales rep with MotorKool in Victorian. Steve is well known to the Victorian radiator industry from the previous role he held with Capricorn.
Long established Australian radiator manufacturer Kees Weel returns to copper brass core production. Based in Queensland, Kees started the K&J radiator brand on the Gold Coast, expanding to produce high performance alluminium radiators under the successful PWR brand. After selling K&J to radiator manufacturer Natra, Kees focused on the development and expansion of PWR, now a global operation in the heat transfer field. Kees has just returned from Europe after delivering his most sophisticated heat transfer development to a leading European F1 race team. His latest involvement is Redback Radiators who are a new producer of engineered heavy duty industrial copper and brass cores for the Australian market.
MICHAEL FLYNN - ADRAD
In January, Mick Flynn resigned from from his position as Adrad's National Industrial sales Manager. Based at the Currumbin plant on Queensland's Gold Coast, Mick is a well known figure in the national radiator industry having started at CBM Radiators in South Australia in 1992. In the late 90's, Mick joined Adrad and in January 2007 he was transfered to Currumbin to assist in the changes being made at the Currumbin factory that was formely K&J Thermal Products. Mick has considerable knowledge and wide-ranging experience in the heavy duty/industrial radiator field.
Gavin Collings was appointed National Sales Manager for engine cooling at CoolDrive. Prior to his new appointment he was sales Manager at the Adelaide branch. Gavin has had over 20 years experience in the radiator industry from the early days working as state manager for Natra and K & J Industries. In the mid 90's he teamed up with David Meese from Western Australia to start Radiators Australia SA. This business ran for 10 years before being sold to CoolDrive Distribution. From the sale of the business, Gavin the moved to CoolDrive Adelaide to help establish the radiator side of the business before moving to Melbourne to take up his new appointment.
JOCK HARRIS - CoolDrive
Jock Harris has been appointed as CoolDrive's new Brisbane Branch Manager. Jock has had 25 years experience throughout the automotive industry and looks forward to his new role. He is also looking forward to the chance to renew relationships with customers he has had contact with in the past.
ROY LAPEDOTA - Natrad
Roy Lapedota has been appointed to the new role of Business Development Manager of the Natrad franchise in Victoria. Roy has previous automotive experience with the Goodyear brand over a number of years. Roy has considerable prior experience with franchising, which included marketing and store development. Roy is expected to play a key role in the overhaul of franchise documentation, and with projects including operations manual and website.
GRANT GEARY - Global Heat Transfer
Grant Geary has resigned from COR Engineered Cooling. Grant was the National Sales Manager for almost 4 years until his resignation. Grant is now the general Manager of Global Heat Transfer Australia Pty Ltd based in Maddington, Western Australia. Global Heat Transfer manufactures the 'removeable tube' product, similar to what has been known as the 'Mesabi' tube. See Industry News.

Annelies Gonzaga has been appointed as the new Natrad marketing coordinator. She is based in Melbourne, and has had previous experience in marketing and communications with human resources company DRAKE.
STEVEN JONES - Adrad
Steven Jones has recently been appointed to the position of Qld Regional Manager. He is based in Brisbane and his role is to service the non-metropolitan areas of the state. Steven brings to Adrad previous franchise experience in the Queensland Motor Industry.
GREG RUTTIMAN - Adrad Townsville
Greg is believed to be one of the longest serving Natra staff remaining (pre takeover). Greg's last day with the company was Friday 25th July. He started his radiator career with ACE Radiator Service in 1983. He managed their repair shop until the business was purchased by Natra P/L. He held the position of North Queensland Manager, Greg has held this position since the ADRAD-Natra merger. Greg was a familiar face with shop owners in North and North Western Queensland.
The Industry will lose approximately 25 years of knowledge and experience with Greg's departure. We wish him all the best for the future with his new business pursuits. Greg's long term assistant Keith will hold the fort until an announcement is made. Stay tuned.
KRISTY DAWSON - Adrad Melbourne
Kristy has recently resigned from her position as Marketing Co-ordinator of Natrad, effective Friday 18th July. Luke Boland (see below) thanked Kristy for her efforts and contribution to Natrad.
LUKE BOLAND - Adrad Melbourne
Luke has been appointed National Franchise Manager for Natrad. While Luke is new to the radiator industry, he is believed to have prior experience in the franchise/marketing field. Welcome Luke.
TONY LOPUSZANSKI - AIR Radiators
Tony Lopuszanski has resigned from his sales position at AIR Radiators. Tony is believed to have left the industry and is now working as a technical sales representative for a specialist welding company.
MIKE BEGG - Adrad Queensland
Adrad-Natra Queensland state manager Mike Begg has resigned from his position. Mike is not lost from the industry, he has accepted a new role with Acton Distribution, Acacia Ridge Brisbane.
GREG TILLEY - Adrad Brisbane
With the departure of the Nth Qld Greg (Ruttiman), the remaining Greg (Tilley) has been appointed Rocklea QLD Manager. I would speculate that Greg is one of the longest serving people from the Natra days and possibly the last remaining original from sales. Greg has had extensive industry experience being a former Natra NSW state manager including a stint with Mobil Distribution Sydney, and has also held a senior sales position with Natra Melbourne. Greg accepted a transfer to Brisbane to set up the Natra QLD branch before the ADRAD takeover.
Versatile Greg is reportedly seeking out Hollywood agents after a successful staring role in a video blockbuster due for local release shortly.
MARK CARROL - BEHR-HELLA Melbourne
Mark Carrol has resigned from DENSO to take up a new position with Behr-Hella. Behr-Hella are a long established company distributing imported product and are expanding their range of radiator product available to the Australian market. Watch this space.
PETER BEGG - Adrad Perth
Adrad-Natra WA state manager Peter Begg has resigned from his position. Peter is not lost from the industry, he has accepted a position in sales with COR Radiators in Perth. Peter is the brother of Mike in Brisbane. Peter transferred from Brisbane a few years earlier to manage the Perth branch.
TREVOR MARSHALL - Radiators Australia
Trevor has been appointed National Marketing Manager for Radiators Australia. Based in Melbourne, Trevor is a long term member of the radiator industry and a brief outline of his career deserves a mention.
Trevor spent a total of 17 years with DENSO Melbourne, the first 7 years in an account management role, the remainder in the aftermarket division selling to distributors V.R.S, ADRAD, R-AUST, and ACTON DIST. Trevor then spent almost 4 years with V.R.S. in a sales management role until the company was taken over by Natra. For the next 8 years Trevor had varying roles in the franchise and independent market sectors. After Natra was acquired by ADRAD, he continued as the Victorian state manager until the position was made redundant. Trevor brings to Radiators Australia a significant amount of industry knowledge and experience.
KATE LUCAS - Adrad Melbourne
Kate Lucas resigned from her position of Natra General Manger. She has accepted a new challenge outside the industry. Kate is a former Natra staffer who resigned to take up a position in Hong Kong, returning to Australia to take on a senior marketing role with the Natrad franchise division of Natra.
STUART McGILL - PWR Performance Products
Stuart McGill has accepted the role of Human Resources and Quality Assurance for PWR products as of July 2007. PWR are now operating out of their new manufacturing plant at Yatala (almost Gold Coast) QLD. Stuart was the manager of K&J Radiator Industries at Currumbin when the manufacturing business was sold to Natra. With the takeover of Natra by ADRAD, Stuart departed the industry for a period of time, before returning with his current position at PWR.
PAUL KING - MotorKool
Paul King has departed from the Cairncross radiators group in Brisbane. He has since taken up the role of Industrial Sales Manager at MotorKool. Paul is involved in expanding MotorKool's range of heavy-duty, trucks and industrial completes and their new and developing range of cores.
LEIGH THOMSON - Adrad
Leigh has recently been appointed to the position of National Sales and Operations. Like Luke, he is new to the radiator industry but is believed to be a very experienced operator.
NATHAN DICKERSON - Adrad
Nathan has resigned from his position as ADRAD NSW State Manager.
DARREN ROUGHTON - Adrad
Darren has been re-appointed to his previous position as ADRAD State Manager of NSW. He is believed to have had a 12 month break in Cairns in sunny North Queensland.
MICHAEL COTTON - Ashdown-Ingram
Michael was previously working for CoolDrive for many years before switching to ADRAD-Natra. Michael has since resigned from his position with ADRAD-Natra and has taken up a position with Ashdown-Ingrams, who have recently purchased Acton Distribution QLD.
Andrew has joined the ranks of AIR Radiators. He has previous experience in the heat-transfer field, he has worked for a large Australian manufacturer of refrigeration and airconditioning products. Andrew works alongside the very experienced Ron Jones. Welcome Andrew.
BEN THOMPSON - EZIRAD
Ben has been appointed the position of Manager of EZIRAD sales and development. Ben's task is to further expand the scope of EZIRAD to enhance the user benefits of this long established program. Along with maintaining the EZIRAD database, Ben is also responsible for the creation and establishment of the RAD-CHAT communication platform. Ben's depth of industry knowledge and IT background will be a good foundation for this exciting new development.
